Clear2Pay acquires payments technology firm Integri

International test tool and test service provider Integri (B) joins Clear2Pay

Brussels, 12 November 2007 – Clear2Pay, the international technology provider of next generation payment solutions for financial institutions has today signed an agreement to acquire Integri, a niche international supplier of test tools and test services for payments, ticketing and mobile applications.

Integri is specialised in test tools for payment networks, smartcards, security systems, terminals, handsets, front-end systems, (U)SIM cards, etc. The Integri test tools are all based on the Integri INQ® Open Platform. This platform can be considered a test tool development platform and allows the user to program simulators, write test scripts and run tests. Integri has a large portfolio of smartcard related test suites and has recently finalised the development of its INQ® SEPA Platform that allows the elaboration of test suites for SEPA Credit Transfers and Direct Debits. Integri’s team of 45 professionals based in Brussels, Paris and Dallas provides its clients all over the world with tailor made test solutions and test services.

Michel Akkermans, Chairman and CEO of Clear2Pay, states: “The period of big system overhauls is well behind us and we see a growing demand for ‘migration’ type approaches such as testing, benchmarking and ring-fenced early adoption processes in technology solutions sales across the board. The various projects we embarked on with large financial institutions and central banks are a clear example of this. Passing vigorous tests and benchmarks made a huge difference for us during the selection process. Companies demand a clear view on efficiencies to be gained, which often make up an important part of the backbone of the business case. Under the agreement, specifics of which will not be disclosed, Integri becomes a wholly owned and autonomous business unit of Clear2Pay while it continues to service its international client base and extend its product portfolio based on the INQ® Open Platform. Jan De Meester remains General Manager of the Integri Business Unit and becomes a Vice President in the Clear2Pay group.
