Macquarie Bank puts Sienna solution to the test

Sydney, August 2003 - Macquarie Bank is to put Sienna Technologies'(part of Clear2Pay) BillView Integrator solution through a full evaluation in coming months, as the Bank gears up its online banking services in response to customer demand.

"As part of the Bank's strategy to provide world class innovative solutions to our customers, we are taking the opportunity to evaluate Sienna's solution with a view to full integration with our online banking platform."

Mr Russell Mourney
Division Director
Macquarie's Banking Division

Certified with BPAY View

Sienna was the first Australian software company to have its Electronic Bill Payment and Presentment (EBPP) product certified with BPAY View. The BillView Integrator solution has since been chosen by four major financial institutions in Australia and is well poised to move into the second tier and credit union financial markets space.

BPAY was launched in November 1997 to provide Australians with a more efficient way to make bill payments. The BPAY View enhancement was launched in January 2002, enabling customers to use their Internet banking sites to receive, view and pay bills on-line.

Sienna's BillView Integrator is an open and flexible solution that supports all the required functionality to rapidly connect an organization's online banking system to the BPAY View service. The solution is fully maintained and supported by Sienna and includes mandatory BPAY scheme updates and enhancements.

Award Winning

This Sienna solution recently won the prestigious industry AIIA iAward 2003, iMPLEMENTATION Software, not only in recognition of the development of its BillView Integrator product but, most importantly, for the successful customer implementations.
