The consulting department of Clear2Pay in Belgium delivers Consulting services to financial institutions and corporates located on the Belgian territory. The department is organized by Competence Centre’s: Payments, Cards, Credits and Risk, Financial Markets and Securities and Management Consulting (transversal across all domains of our target clients).


Your job will be to manage the Payments Competence Centre of Clear2Pay Belgium.

Job Description

  • Each Competence Centre Manager has a twofold job:
    • The management of his Competence centre
    • Consulting Missions
  • By management of the Competence Centre, we mean:
    • Have a clear vision about the evolution of the payments world: Which are the concerns of our target market, which services should be promoted towards which clients… Stay informed about what is living in the market;
    • Develop new business by actively participating to the pre-sales efforts (client presentations, seminars, RFP answers and other proposals) and build new service proposals;
    • Organize the collaboration with other Competence Centre’s when required for a mission;
    • Establish a strong link between the Payments solutions offer of Clear2Pay (Open Payment Framework see www.clear2pay.com) and the Payments Consulting activity;
    • Manage the team (currently 12 consultants): motivate, evaluate, follow-up, coach, recruit new consultants…
    • Participate to the Consulting Management Team in Belgium to asses and define the evolution and the strategy of the consulting department;
    • Liaise with the Payments Competence Centre managers in other countries
    Each Competence Centre manager is billable for 50 to 80% of his time. He can act as a senior project manager or a senior expert for our clients.

Profile

  • University degree;
  • Strong knowledge of payments (SEPA, PSD, Cross border payments, SWIFT…);
  • Minimum 10 years experience in IT projects within the banking sector;
  • Minimum 3 years experience in team management;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills;
  • Sales minded;
  • Strong organization skills;
  • Proactive in addressing issues;
  • Team leader, customer focus, result oriented;
  • Fluent in English, French and Dutch.
