Overall Purpose of the Job

To grow the Clear2Pay client portfolio by winning new business in new named accounts and optimize revenue at existing accounts. You will be responsible for targeting a targeted group of Banks and Financial Institutions in Italy.

You report to the Vice-President EMEA Region-South.

Accountabilities

  • To be responsible for winning new business in line with business strategies in your territory.
  • To achieve sales and drive revenue in line with quarterly and annual targets defined in the budget.
  • To organize, setup and follow-up of implementation-projects for closed business in your territory.
  • You will also be responsible for ensuring that invoices are paid in a timely fashion from the accounts for which you have responsibility.
  • To understand the client’s business, understand their problems and have ultimately responsibility for proposing the solution. You will be supported by a team of pre-sales consultants to assist in achieving this goal.
  • To work both autonomously and as part of a team to manage the complete sales process.
  • To develop an in-depth knowledge of the key business areas, capitalize on them and build a pipeline for Clear2Pay and create/enhance the network of industry contacts within your territory.
  • To evolve and remain proactive to new business opportunities for Clear2Pay.

Person Specification

  • Qualifications
    The role holder needs to possess a strong academic history preferably holding a degree.
  • Experience
    The role holder must have at least 5-10 years from a Software Sales background selling into the Financial Industry, preferably the Payments/Cards industry or Payments experience from either a Banking or Card Association background. The role holder would have received excellent training to understand the full life cycle of the sales process and of course a proven track record for sales and delivery, preferably in the payments/card industry.
  • Technical Skills
    The position will require the job holder to be PC literate with an understanding of the Microsoft product suite.
