Job Description

Clear2Pay Belgium has built a specific software package “CBK” designed for processing of disputed transactions in the credit/debit MasterCard/ Visa card business. The CBK package can be described as a back-office and database application combining Financial Processing, CRM functions and the specific Clearing and Operational Rules Management in the credit card business.

Clear2Pay Belgium is currently looking for a Test Officer working on CBK software.
CBK test officers are reporting to the Manager of CBK Test Unit, behaving as a client of the CBK development team, and as a supplier to the CBK consultants team and to CBK Product Manager –External Delivery Manager

Objectives and Responsibilities

  • Learn the CBK functionality (GUI & batch)
  • Learn and execute the “manual testing”, “per case”, “per function”, per “customer”
  • Learn the operations of the “automatic testing procedures”
  • Manage the testing infrastructure, the standard and specific test data per customer, and the test reporting procedures
  • Follow-up the performance issues
  • Build new test scenarios and enriching the global CBK database of all automatic tests
  • Build test scripts (specific program developments using the selected languages and tools)
  • Execute some tests “manually”- behaving as a user and deciding what tests have to be subject to automation
  • Make automatic all regression tests and build a very powerful library of standard tests and of standard test data.

  • To speak and write English (all documents and tests are in English)

  • To have high communication skills
  • To be able to work within a team
  • To be very service oriented
  • To be practical, but applying the most adequate work methodologies
  • To be curious
  • To be experienced in SQL technologies
  • To have experience in ORACLE and DB2 database administration (user level)
  • To have a “technical education back ground” (skills in scripting and in a programming language are appreciated and useful)
