Job Description

Clear2Pay is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Research and Development team in Paris, France.
Products developed by the R&D team are customized by engagement teams in the regional business units to meet the specific bank’s requirements. R&D also assists with proof of concept systems for the regional sales teams.
As J2EE Software Engineer, you will design, construct, test and document the eBanking product to meet functional and architectural requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Development of new product features and improvements
  • Write unit tests and automated integration tests
  • Analyze reported issues and fix bugs when necessary
  • JavaDoc public interfaces/classes/methods
  • Produce Developer Guides for customization teams
  • Meet development timeframes agreed with Development Leader
  • Report progress, raise risks and escalate issues to Development Leader

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in full SDLC and related methodologies
  • Software development, in Java, J2EE, EJBs, struts, Wicket, JSPs, XML and OOD – 4 years
  • Web application development – several years
  • Requirements analysis, including use cases – several years
  • Web application development
  • Persistence to a relational database
  • Parsing/writing to/from external interfaces
  • Web services, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and service orchestration
  • Software structure and design – several years
  • Unit testing processes – several years
  • Experience in the following will also be highly regarded:
    • Experience with web application frameworks such as Spring MVC, JSF, WebWork, Tapestry, Wicket
    • Financial applications and corporate payment systems
    • Internet security
    • Hibernate
    • WebSphere, WSAD

Other Requirements

  • Good written skills and an ability to write technical documents
  • Willingness to share knowledge with colleagues
  • Be comfortable to change
