Nordea selects ClearPark and EDB for card processing
Strategic partners Clear2Pay and EDB Business Partner co-operate to enable card processing for one of the leading banks in the Nordic and Baltic Sea region.
Brussels , August 2, 2005 - Nordea has selected Clear2Pay’s ClearPark platform as the ASP solution for card processing. As the first step, the ClearPark platform has gone live for Nordea’s clients in Norway. Expansion into Sweden and potentially other Nordic countries is foreseen.
The ClearPark solution allows for worldwide authorisation of payment or business transactions, to be used within a web shop, via web forms, in batch processing or directly linked to back office systems. In addition to handling regular credit cards, such as VISA and MasterCard, ClearPark also offers an extensive Purchasing Card solution. The extensive ClearPark card suite can be integrated with the EDB Card Platform. It is for this specific functionality that Nordea selected Clear2Pay and EDB.
Clear2Pay has delivered the solution in close co-operation with EDB Business Partner, one of the largest processors/service providers operating in Scandinavia and a supplier of operating services to Nordea.
