JCB (Japan) certificeert Clear2Pay 3-D Secure product suite: volledig compliant met J/Secure™ kaarthouder authenticatie programma.

Clear2Pay bevestigt zijn mondiale ambitie met een volledige 3-D Secure product suite voor alle kaartomgevingen.

Brussel, 25 augustus 2004 - Clear2Pay, specialist in betaaloplossingen voor de internationale financiële dienstverlening heeft een compliance certificatie gekregen van JCB voor de volledige 3-D Secure product suite. De Element ACS and Element MPI producten ondersteunen nu JCB's J/Secure authenticatie oplossing, evenals Verified by VISA en MasterCard SecureCode.

De Element ACS omvat ondermeer kaarthouder authenticatie voor Issuers, authenticatie van de betaler met behulp van Password, Token, Secure device of GSM. De Element ACS ondersteunt het backoffice voor wat betreft administratie, issuers en kaarthouders. De Element ACS is ontworpen om te functioneren in drie verschillende versies: 'attempt, stand-alone of integrated' (met e-banking). Samen met de Cardholder Enrolment Server, die registratie en activering van kaarthouders faciliteert, vormt de Element ACS een volledige Internet betalingstoepassing voor Issuers. Met deze laatste certificering is het nu ook beschikbaar voor JCB issuers.

De Element MPI verwerkt kaarthouder authenticatie voor Merchants and Acquirers volgens het 3-D Secure protocol. De Element MPI stelt een buitengewoon volledige back office omgeving ter beschikking waarbinnen het systeem en de security parameters geconfigureerd kunnen worden, naast een gedetailleerd overzicht van de authenticatie transacties. Tezamen met de ProxyPay POS Server en Gateway, vormt de Element MPI een volledige betalingsomgeving voor acquirers. Net als Element ACS, is het nu ook beschikbaar voor JCB acquirers.

JCB staat vierde op de ranglijst van internationale credit cards en is, door de allianties met meer dan 320 toonaangevende banken en financiële instellingen wereldwijd, de grootste kaart issuer/acquirer in Japan. Het merchant network omvat meer dan 11.4 miljoen merchants verspreid over 189 landen en gebieden. JCB's 49.6 miljoen kredietkaarten worden uitgegeven in 18 landen.
