Clear2Pay conclut son augmentation de capital avec un investissement additionnel d’Intel.

Bruxelles, 20 octobre 2003 - Clear2Pay, le spécialiste Bruxellois dans les solutions de paiements pour le secteur financier international, annonce aujourd’hui la conclusion de son augmentation de capital avec un investissement additionnel d’Intel Capital. Les investisseurs incluent Big Bang Ventures, Koceram, Omega Pharma et le management. Cette extension additionnelle apporte le capital investi à 8.4 million d’euro.

“Le conseil d’administration de Clear2Pay a eu l’option de prolonger le placement. L’extension fournit à Clear2Pay des moyens financiers additionnels qui seront employés pour continuer le développement de notre portfolio de produits pour le marché des paiements électroniques et pour accélérer notre stratégie de croissance. Nous prévoyons que les institutions financières augmenteront leurs dépenses envers la technologie et les systèmes de paiement afin de réduire leurs coûts et d’apporter plus de convenance à leurs clients." dit Michel Akkermans, Président et CEO de Clear2Pay.

Selon Stephane Goubau, le directeur des investissements stratégiques d’Intel dans la région d'Europe occidentale, "cet investissement fait partie de l'engagement d'Intel à investir dans les solutions d'écosystème qui aident à enlever les barrières du e-business."
