The Commonwealth Bank selects Sienna's BillView Integrator solution

Sydney, October 2003 - The Commonwealth Bank of Australia has selected BillView Integrator from Sienna Technologies (part of Clear2Pay) to upgrade the bank's BPAY View electronic bill presentment service.

"Commonwealth Bank led the way and was the first bank in Australia to implement the BPAY View service to allow our internet banking customers to receive and view their bills on-line," explained Mr Stephen Morrow, Executive General Manager, Transactions and Consumer Financing.

"Receiving bills on-line at a trusted site is convenient for customers choosing this service – it is timely, reduces paper work, and helps in budget management," Mr Morrow added.

"Sienna's BillView Integrator will give us greater flexibility to enhance our BPAY View product and offer customers an even better service," explained Mr Morrow.

BillView Integrator allows financial institutions to rapidly integrate their On-Line Banking systems with the electronic bill presentment service BPAY View, allowing their internet banking customers to receive and view bills on-line.

Banks Choose Sienna's BillView Integrator

Five major banks in Australia have now implemented or have committed to Sienna's BillView Integrator. This solution was also the first Australian software product to be certified with BPAY View for use by Payer Institutions.

"The fact that BillView Integrator has been developed and is supported in Australia gives our customers an edge in the market place, because we can easily respond to any changes in the BPAY scheme," said Mr Nigel Holman, Sienna's Chief Executive Officer.

Significantly, Sienna Technologies BillView Integrator solution recently won AIIA's prestigious iAward in the iMPLEMENTATION Software category 2003.
