St George fast tracks BPAY View implementation

Sydney, 18th September - St George Bank has selected the BillView Integrator solution from Sienna Technologies (part of Clear2Pay), to help fast track their integration with BPAY View.

"As a BPAY provider, we wanted to enhance our Internet banking service and give customers the ability to receive and view their bills on-line," said Greg Booker, General Manager Architecture, St George Bank.

"We chose Sienna BillView Integrator because it allowed us to rapidly connect our Internet banking systems with the BPAY Hub, minimising certification and integration costs and delivering us a faster return on investment," explained Mr Booker.

"Our development team was impressed with the robustness of the Sienna solution as well as the ease of integration with the BPAY Hub," he added.

Sienna, a leading provider of electronic payment and delivery solutions, was the first Australian software company to have its Electronic Bill Presentment (EBP) product certified with BPAY View for use by BPAY Member Financial Institutions.

Sienna BillView Integrator is an open, flexible solution that securely routes messages between an On-Line Banking (OLB) system and the BPAY Hub. Acting as an intermediary, it effectively isolates the OLB system from the specifics of the connection requirements to the BPAY Hub, resulting in reduced maintenance costs for the Financial Institution.
