Overall Purpose of the Job
As Pre-Sales Business Consultant for the EMEA region, you will assist our EMEA-based sales team in winning new and extending existing business by providing matter expertise on the Business and Technical solutions of our Open Payment Framework (OPF) product suite.
You report to the Vice President EMEA.
Your peers include regional Product Managers, Product Delivery Managers, Project Managers, Sales Managers, Marketing Managers and Legal Advisors.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Sales Executive in winning new and extending existing business in line with the corporate business strategies in the EMEA region.
- Own and manage the RFP/RFI response process for all EMEA-based OPF opportunities.
- Understand the clients business, understand their problems and have responsibility, in conjunction with the Sales Executive for defining and proposing the Clear2Pay solution.
- Work both autonomously and as part of a team to manage the delivery of sales support materials within the sales process. This includes the production of product descriptions and product demonstrations. This area of responsibility will require close collaboration with the Product Management department.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the key business areas and translate that into Clear2Pay technology solutions.
- Participate in regional commercial events, such as trade shows, conferences … both as visitor, representative and speaker.
- Support the Product Marketing department in
- communications (branding, messaging, advertising, PR, lead generation, product presentations, collateral and website)
- product commercialization (elaborate pricing, commercial and legal aspects, partner certification)
- elaboration of sales tools and channel support (white papers, product demonstrations, cases studies and references, sales updates, competitive updates, seminars, tradeshows, corporate visits etc)
- market analysis (market research competitive analysis, differentiation, problems and opportunities)
- To evolve and remain proactive to new business opportunities for Clear2Pay.
Key Requirements
- Experience in business consulting in an international software company
- Demonstrable subject matter expertise in banking systems and financial software
- Ability to analyze, discuss and promote product-based solutions with customers and respond to their needs
- Experience in market analysis and strong research capabilities
- Exposure and willingness to work in international environment (travel, time zone differences, …)
- Commercial attitude and customer focus
- Located in EMEA region
Other Requirements
- Strong academic history holding a degree
- Knowledge of payment systems is a plus
- Experience in product-based sales within the financial industry is a plus
- Strong listening skills
- Ability to negotiate with & influence others
- Good problem analysis and problem solving skills (find solutions, not obstacles)
- Able to grasp technical concepts at high level
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good understanding of the internal and external experience with product applications
- Friendly and efficient communicator

- Be prepared to travel occasionally requiring overnight stays

- The position will require an understanding of the Microsoft product suite as well as demonstrable understanding of Service Oriented Architectures, Open Systems and Internet technologies.
