Financial Application Support Specialist (M/F)

Job description

We are looking for a Financial Application Support Specialist (m/f) who will assist our client, a large Belgian bank, in the daily management and use of a software package for its Private Equity activity.

Detailed responsibilities and tasks include:

• provide first and second level support for the business users on the various operation sites within Europe
• manage the software applications (release management, testing reporting, parametrization)
• liaise with the software editor for implementation-specific issues
• ensure database quality controls
• train business users
• analyse new business requirements
• write end-user documentation
  

Profile

• University or Bachelor degree
• Business analysis skills
• Familiarity with, or great interest in learning about, asset/portfolio management principles
• Experience in the support of critical software applications
• Good PC skills (as a user)
• Knowledge of reporting tools is a plus (Crystal Reports etc)
• Ability to liaise with parties such as business representatives, process managers, IT project leaders and developers
• Used to work in an international environment
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Dynamic and excellent team spirit
• Good knowledge of French, Dutch and English
