Matt Ellis Vice President & Managing Director Clear2Pay Americas

Matt Ellis is the General Manager of Clear2Pay Americas. His team is responsible for the Sales, Delivery and Support of Clear2Pay’s applications in the US, Canada, Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Mr. Ellis has over 15 years experience in the Wholesale Banking and Payments industries.

Immediately prior to joining Clear2Pay, Mr. Ellis spent 7 years at S1 (the acquirer of FICS). He held senior positions in Sales, Product and Project Management. This included global sales management responsibility for S1's Business Banking Group. Under his leadership this team saw sales grow from $8, to $12 and finally to $17 million annually.

Prior to joining FICS, Mr. Ellis spent 9 years in BankBoston's Global Treasury Management Division. (BankBoston was acquired by Fleet and subsequently by Bank of America). Mr. Ellis held senior Product Management positions including SVP of Wholesale Payment Products, and SVP of Electronic and Information Reporting Products.

Mr. Ellis is a permanently Certified Cash Manager (CCM). He also holds a BA in Economics from St. Lawrence University.
