Technical Architect (M/F)

As a Technical Architect, you will join a talented and experienced eFinance team, working on state-of-the-art software development projects based on Clear2Pay’s Open Payments Framework (OPF), which enables financial institutions with acquiring, monitoring, netting and clearing functions for their payment systems.

You will train and assist the engagement teams with the customization of the OPF products, such as SEPA and International Credit Transfer solutions, and review the engagement teams’ designs. You will advise on development best practices and tips learned from the OPF development.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in payments or similar high volume transactional systems (ideally within a bank’s back-office environment), preferably minimum 10 years.
  
• Very good practical knowledge of J2EE, EJB, XML
  
• Knowledge of Hibernate, JDBC, Relational databases (Oracle/DB2)
  
• Knowledge of Struts, JSP, Taglibs
  
• Knowledge of WebServices
  
• Knowledge of IBM WebsSphere or Process Server is a plus
  
• Good social contacts, team player
  
• Excellent written and spoken English
  
• Excellent writing skills are required
  
• Willingness to travel for short periods
  
• A pro-active ‘can-do’ attitude
  
• Good attention to detail
  
• Self-disciplined and motivated
  
• Ability to prioritize and self manage time and tasks
  
• Very committed: will require very strong commitments at peak times
