Network and System Support Engineer (M/F)

Clear2Pay Belgium is currently looking for a Network and System Support Engineer in its offices in Mechelen and Brussels.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, install, troubleshoot and manage Windows Servers
  
• Prepare, install, troubleshoot and manage Linux and Unix servers
  
• Configure and manage tape back-up systems and procedures
  
• Configure and manage Local Area Network and wireless LAN, access to the Wide Area Network and access to the internet
  
• Collaborate with internal and external service providers
  
• Keep the systems and applications up and running! Keep the user community happy
  

Requirements

• Higher education in computer science
  
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar function
  
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suit (2003 and 2007)
  
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Client platforms
  (XP and Vista)
  
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Server platforms
  (2000 – 2003, Active Directory, Exchange, ISA, SharePoint, ...)
  
• Good knowledge of Linux Server platforms
  (Red Hat, Suse, ...)
  
• Knowledge of AIX is an asset
  
• Good knowledge about network devices and protocols
  
• Certifications are an asset (Microsoft, VMware, ...)
  
• Self starter
  
• Eager to learn
  
• Good social contacts, team player, service minded
  
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing), knowledge of French, Dutch
  
• Documentation skills
  
• Good communication skills
